Don’t Quit Yet: This Is Part of the Process

You can have the world’s best stretching program… mine is here ;)
…but if you never do it, it’s useless.
I used to spend hours building the perfect routine for myself, but then I never actually followed it.
It wasn’t until I stuck with something simple, even if it wasn’t “optimal,” that real progress happened.
Here is how to make it stick:
Keep it short, around 10 to 15 minutes.
Focus on 2 or 3 key areas, not every muscle in your body.
Do it at the same time each day. (Tie it to a habit you already have.)
Make it easy to start. (Mat out, playlist ready.)
Flexibility isn’t built through intensity. It is built through repetition.
A “boring” routine done a hundred times beats a perfect one done twice.
Simplify. Then commit, and when you have established the proper habits, commit to something more challenging.
Remember, stretching changes everything!
Stay Flexy,
David

Movement of the Day
Arm Circles

Arm circles warm up the shoulders, build control, and improve joint stability.
Watch the demo here.
How to Do It:
Extend your arms straight out to the sides and make large, controlled circles forward. After your reps, reverse the direction and circle backward.
Tips:
Keep shoulders relaxed
Focus on smooth, full rotations
Move slowly for better control
Many of these exercises are featured in my 12-week flexibility plan.
If interested, reply “Foundation” for an awesome surprise.
Myth-Busting
MYTH: You’re genetically inflexible
While your genetics play a role, lifestyle and injury have a significantly greater impact. The scientific literature indicates that everyone, regardless of age, can safely improve their range of motion with appropriate precautions.
